After our visit to the Mission in San Diego, we headed to a spot that my fellow photographer had shot before in La Jolla. After about a half hour drive though the winding streets of La Jolla, on the lookout for the roving bands of MS-13 we arrived at the beach. There was no parking by the beach so we had to park a very short block away. I shot from one location, while my fellow photographer moved around to several different spots.

Sunset I

I shot this just after setting up my tripod and camera on a rock overlooking the beach. The sun hasn’t begun to actually set and the reflection on the ocean is quite stunning.
